Managing Icons

Icons can be managed and updated on the SyncTimes admin page. First, let’s cover how to add and remove icons.

Adding and Removing Icons

To add icons, start by selecting the “Departments” option from the menu on the left.

Once in the department view, select the department you would like to edit. This will open a window with the department information. Scroll to the section labeled “Modify Actions” and select the drop down arrow.

To add icons, simply drag and drop the icon you would like to add to the empty icon with the plus button in the “Assigned Actions” section.

To remove icons, just click the ‘x’ in the top left of the selected icon box.

Next, let’s look at how to add or remove sounds to an icon.

Adding and Removing Sounds

Once an icon is added you can click on it to view the list of available sounds, including “no sound.” To listen to a sample of the sound, select the play button to the left of the sound title. To select the sound, press the title of the sound. When it turns green, it is saved.
